Upcoming activities:
Line Dancing – Classes are filled for the Monday and Friday, 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. classes.
Exercise Classes – The Monday and Friday 9 a.m. classes will resume in mid January. Watch for a confirmed date.
Coffee Club – The Milton Community Hall is hosting coffee (and tea) on Monday and Friday mornings at 10 a.m.
Stories Fill Me Up – The next scheduled events include Dutch Thompson speaking about PEI Mysteries and Oddities on noon, Wednesday, January 6. On Wednesday, January 20 at noon, David Hooper will shares stories of winter fun.
Betty Pryor is scheduled to share stories of her travels to the Falkland Islands and South Georgia on Thursday, Feb. 4 at noon.
Ken Williams will talk about not being a CFA – but an IBC at noon on Wednesday, Feb 24. Seating is limited, but take out or delivery meals will be made for senior residents. Residents get preference for in-person seating. Pre-registration is required at least 48 hours before the event to admin@miltonvalepark.com or 902-368-3090. Stories Fill Me Up is funded by the Government of Canada through the New Horizons for Seniors Program.
Lunch and Learns – Join resident Craig Mackie, Executive Director of the PEI Association for Newcomers to Canada will share “Why We Need Newcomers” on Tuesday, January 12, at 12 noon. Please RSVP to admin@miltonvalepark.com by 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan 11.
