Miltonvale Park

Miltonvale Park is located at the northwest boundary of the City of Charlottetown in the Province of Prince Edward Island, Canada.

The Rural Municipality of Miltonvale Park was incorporated in 1974, and includes the areas of North Milton, Milton Station, Springvale, South Milton, and Sleepy Hollow. Miltonvale Park is home to 1196 residents (2021 Census details for Miltonvale Park).

The municipality is governed by an elected Council and Mayor, and has a part-time CAO, Shari MacDonald and development officer, Mirko Terrazas, to deal with development permits and subdivision applications. Hal Parker is the Mayor, with Paul Poole as Deputy Mayor. Finance Chair is Rosemarie Ramsay, and she is joined on Council by Counciilors Leo Doucette, Andrew Frizzell, Spencer MacDonald, and Jamie Taylor.

The municipality provide services,  such as regular community newsletters, social media, Canada Day celebrations, a community park with summer recreation program, insect control, green initiative grants for water saving devices, bursaries for children’s activities and grants to community organizations. The community has an Official Plan and provides development control. Miltonvale Park also has an Emergency Measures Plan.

The community has expanded its focus on its senior residents, offering regular exercise classes, social events and presentations.

The municipality rents office space from the Milton Community Hall, and it also holds most of its activities at the Hall.
