Welcome to Shayla who is our new park worker. Shay will be at the park for August and then will be splitting her time between the park and the Council Office for September.

There will not be a Planning Board meeting in August.

Residents of the Crabbe Road and nearby areas are asked to make their annual $30 contribution towards the cost of treating the areas for mosquitoes. Payment can be made to the Council Office (cheque to “Rural Municipality of Miltonvale Park”), cash, or e-transfer to admin@miltonvalepark.com) or to Rachel Sentner (820 Crabbe Rd). The municipality pays for black fly control in the Crabbe Road and Loyalist Road areas, but does not cover the cost of mosquito control in the Crabbe Road area for residents. Thanks for your cooperation!

Looking into September – we have booked home economist Margaret Prouse for some food preparation presentations – Thursday, Sept 16 at 1:30 for “Summer Salads” and “French Cooking” on Thursday, Sept. 23 at 1:30.
