What is ParticipACTION?

ParticipACTION is Canada’s leading non-profit organization dedicated to promoting physical activity and healthy living nationwide. Here in Miltonvale Park, PEI, we’re proud to be part of this movement towards a healthier and more active community.
Thanks to residents and neighbours who moved throughout June 2025 to help Miltonvale Park be crowned the most active Community in PEI in 2025 and win $15,000!
June is the ParticipACTION Community Challenge Month!
Can Miltonvale Park win PEI’s Most Active Community TWO years in a row OR… even the Most Active Community in CANADA – which would see Miltonvale Park win $100,000!
The 2026 ParticipACTION Community Challenge presented by Novo Nordisk is back, and this year, it’s more fun with others! The Community Challenge recognizes Canada’s Most Active Community with a $100,000 prize, and one community in PEI will win $10,000 to support local physical activity and sport initiatives!
June is ParticipACTION Community Challenge Month. There are MANY opportunities to take part – and more ways to help Miltonvale Park win -and we all win by being more active! https://www.participaction.com/programs/community-challenge/
PLEASE NOTE: ParticipACTION assigns people to communities according to your postal code – so if you would like to support Miltonvale Park, please register with a Miltonvale Park postal code – The hall’s is C1E 0S7. If you live in Miltonvale Park, but get your mail in Winsloe or Hampshire, and use those postal codes, that might count you in Charlottetown or Hampshire!
Almost ALL the active events will be FREE in June, due to the support from a grant to the Milton Community Hall from ParticipACTION, which is funded by the Government of Canada, the Milton MVPs Project, which is funded by the Government of Prince Edward Island through the PEI Alliance for Mental Well-Being, or the Rural Municipality of Miltonvale Park.
If spaces are limited, Miltonvale Park residents have priority registration.
