A tax increase of 1.4 cents per $100 assessment is proposed for the serviced area (Sleepy Hollow area).
The last rate tax increase in Miltonvale Park was in 2016. The serviced zone had a one-year increase in 2013 of 3 cents/ $100 to pay for the maintenance of the hydrants, and this increase raised approximately $5600. The municipality has paid $82,785.60 to Charlottetown Water and Sewer Utility since 2012 for the maintenance of the fire hydrants. The proposed tax increase in 2026 will add approximately $4600 in additional tax revenue.
