Miltonvale Park and Milton Community Hall
The ParticipACTION 2.0 Edition!! Lots of FREE events in June!
(Events take place at the hall, unless noted)
This information is available online at miltonvalepark.com
JUNE is the ParticipACTION Community Challenge! Miltonvale Park is going for the Most Active Community in CANADA – which would see Miltonvale Park win $100,000!
The 2026 ParticipACTION Community Challenge presented by Novo Nordisk is back, and this year, it’s more fun with others! The Community Challenge is a national physical activity and sport participation initiative encouraging all people living in Canada to make room to move throughout June.
There are MANY opportunities to take part – and more ways to help Miltonvale Park win! https://www.participaction.com/programs/community-challenge/
- Please attend as many of our FREE events as you can.
- If you are already active in other ways, you can sign up as part of an active group and report this activity. This is for folks who walk with family or friends, golf with buddies, or bike ride with a partner, garden with your kids – or any activity that is not held through an organization and involves at least two people. Sign up with ParticipACTION https://www.participaction.com/signup/ and report throughout the month. PLEASE NOTE: ParticipACTION assigns people to communities according to your postal code – so if you would like to support Miltonvale Park, please register with a Miltonvale Park postal code – The hall’s is C1E 0S7. If you live in Miltonvale Park, but get your mail in Winsloe or Hampshire, and use those postal codes, that might count you in Charlottetown or Hampshire!
- Like to walk or run on your own? Send us your steps for the Walk More than the Mayor and Virtual Walk to Milton, Saskatchewan. We can also convert your activity (eg gardening, dancing into steps).
Almost ALL the active events will be FREE in June, due to the support from a grant to the Milton Community Hall from ParticipACTION, which is funded by the Government of Canada, the Milton MVPs Project, which is funded by the Government of Prince Edward Island through the PEI Alliance for Mental Well-Being, or the Rural Municipality of Miltonvale Park.
If spaces are limited, Miltonvale Park residents have priority registration.
