The ParticipACTION Community Challenge takes place in June – and once again Miltonvale Park is encouraging residents to join us in being active and trying to win the $15,000 provincial prize for being the most active community. We did receive a grant from ParticipACTION (funded by the Government of Canada) which will allow Miltonvale Park to offer many activities and enticements throughout the month.
We ask that residents (and folks who want to support the community by joining Miltonvale Park), please download the ParticipACTION App for the month. It is a free health and fitness app, available here: https://www.participaction.com/app/ It will sync to most fitness trackers and automatically report your active minutes. If you use a Miltonvale Park postal code, your movements count for us! (Eg C1E 0S7)
Tanner is taking on this project and is organizing activities to give folks a chance to be active!
