Reminder – Thursday, March 31 is the deadline to submit any rebate forms – HE (High Efficiency) Washer ($50), Low flow showerhead ($25) or replacement toilet ($50) or the Child Bursary forms ($75/child/year) for the April 1-March 31, 2022 fiscal year. Miltonvale Park has a new rebate for spring 2022. The Cornwall and Area Watershed Group Inc is selling rain barrels, accessories and rolling composters. Order and pay online at RainBarrel.ca/CAWGPEI before May 23, 2022.

Pick up is scheduled for the Terry Fox Sports Complex, in Cornwall PEI on Sunday June 5 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. BUT pick up at the Milton Hall may be possible.
New Activity– Pysanky (Ukrainian Easter Egg) Decorating Workshop, Saturday, April 9 from 2:30 (for 2-2.5 hours) at the Milton Community Hall with instructor Linda Weeks Cost -$5 for Miltonvale Park residents (Non-residents $10 – if space permits). Please register at the Council Office. Limited spaces available, and preference for registration will go to Miltonvale Park residents, especially those aged 55+. The municipality is sorry to be saying good-bye to Development Officer Michael Olubiyi who has accepted a position with the province beginning on April 4. This week Michael is orienting our new Development Officer, Mirko Terrazas. All the best wishes to both men in their new positions.

Dr. Michael van den Heuvel from UPEI will be doing a presentation on Coles Creek, and the effects on water levels and fish habitat that he has been studying over the past few years (since the Charlottetown wellfield was established) at a meeting via Zoom and at the Milton Community Hall on Wednesday evening, May 11.
