Mayor Parker, Councillor Lindsey Rhynes and CAO Shari MacDonald attended the FCM Annual Meeting in Quebec City May 30-June 2, 2019. Expenses paid by the municipality totaled $3148.07 and included the following:
- Mayor Parker – Registration fees of $961.22 and remuneration of $440 for total of $1401.22
- Councillor Rhynes- (Student) Registration fees of $431.13 and remuneration of $360 for a total of $791.13
- CAO Shari MacDonald -Registration fees of $955.72 (16 hours of wages were also paid).
- Councillor Rhynes also won a door prize of a $1000 grant for the municipality from ParticipACTION to be used for recreation activities in the Community Better Challenge which is expected to occur in June 2020.
Thanks are extended to the Councillors and staff who covered most travel and accommodations costs themselves.
