Due to staff illness, the Miltonvale Community Park will not be supervised today. Sorry for any inconvenience. You can still register your youth for next Wednesday’s Superhero Day (2-4 p.m.) by emailing miltonvalepark.staff@gmail.com. A huge thank you goes out to Janelle Sinclair who is finishing her term at the Community Park this weekend. Janelle is responsible for shooting and editing the craft videos at the park this summer and has agreed to do a few more for us before she heads to Toronto to attend Ryerson University this fall! Thanks Janelle. Shayla Steinhoff will be starting work on Monday afternoon, and we are looking forward to having her there for August and into September.
The Milton Community Hall is holding regular 50-50 draws – on the middle and the end of each month. If you would like to be included in the final July draw – you can drop by the hall today to pick up tickets – $3 each or 2/$5 or send an e-transfer to miltoncommunityhall@gmail.com and send them an email so they know how to contact you if you have the winning ticket. Tickets may also be available at tomorrow’s yard sale – 9-3 at the Milton Community Hall (in the process of checking with the yard sale folks!). Congratulations to Gordon Carter who won the July 15th draw!
There are some ginger sparkle cookies, chocolate chip cookies and a couple of packages of biscuits left from yesterday’s biscuit sale – which will be available for sale while quantities last. Email or call the hall to check on availability – 902-566-3154. And there is coffee here til 11 if you want to drop in!
