Seniors Events and Office UPDATES -July 24, 2025
The CAO will not be in the office for the Friday morning office hours on July 25.
Wednesday, August 6 – Senior residents of Miltonvale Park (55+) are invited to a free ham cold plate community supper at the Milton Community Hall on Wednesday, August 6 at 6 p.m. Delivery is available to local shut-ins, and takeout is also possible for local seniors who can’t eat in. Folks are encouraged to join us in person and visit with neighbours. If space permits, neighbours are also most welcome! Registrations will be confirmed by August 3, to allow residents time to sign up.

Monday, August 11 – Miltonvale Park is hosting a seniors bus trip (age 55+) on Monday, August 11 leaving the Milton Community Hall at 9:15 for stops at the Butterfly House and Gardens of Hope, Green Gables Heritage Site, Avonlea Village for lunch (on your own), Keir Memorial Museum, Historic St. Mary’s Church and Schurmans’ Family Farm. We expect to be back at the hall around 5:15.
Cost is $35 for Miltonvale Park residents age 55+ and $45 for others, and includes admissions, snacks and the cost of the bus. Miltonvale Park residents have priority booking until Aug. 6, but all folks are invited to pre-register at www.surveymonkey.com/r/BusMvP.
