Speakers and topics for the next three “Stories Fill Me Up” series have been announced and registrations are now being accepted! Menus are not yet finalized – but you can expect to see War Cake, fish and cranberries on the menu throughout November!
Tuesday, Nov. 10 noon -“Two War Stories: Hong Kong and Germany” with Dutch Thompson
Wednesday, Nov. 18 noon – “Fishing -Lobsters, Cod and Other Fish Tales” with Edwin Wall
Thursday, Nov. 26 noon – “Living on Sable Island” with Paul Workman
Seniors (55+) are invited to attend. As space is limited, preference for in-person seating (and eating!) is for Miltonvale Park residents. Seniors can also pick up a meal, or those who live in Miltonvale Park can have a meal delivered. RSVP asap to miltonvalepark.staff@gmail.com.
These activities take place at the Milton Community Hall beginning at 12 noon each day. They are free to attend but donations will be accepted for seniors programming. The Stories Fill Me Up Series is funded by the Government of Canada through the New Horizons for Seniors Program.
