Understanding how computers work – and what exactly is the “Cloud”? – this will be a “How Stuff Works” type course where we’ll review larger overall concepts of computer/programs to give participants a general idea of what’s going on behind the scenes when they’re running a computer program, using a web service, etc.

Basic photo editing. Backing up your computer/smartphone. (It would be helpful to know ahead if participants generally use Apple or Android mobile devices).

Former municipal councillor Lindsey Rhynes is the PEI representative for Raising the Roof and is organizing a fundraising event overnight at the Milton Community Hall on Tuesday, February 7 to combat homelessness. It is free for residents and by donation for others. This is part of the Year of Canada project, funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.

Public Budget Meeting for the Rural Municipality of Miltonvale Park – Wednesday, February 22, 2023 –7:00 p.m. at the Milton Community Hall. Storm date – Thursday, Feb 23. Residents and landowners of Miltonvale Park to provide input on the municipal operating and capital budgets for 2023-24. Reminder that the hall has KN95 masks, COVID rapid tests, a lending library of books and puzzles (and a box of cook books!).
