Council presented a draft budget for 2024-25 at a meeting at the Milton Community Hall on Thurs., Feb 29, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. Residents could view a summary of activities from the 2023-24 year as well as some plans for 2024-25.
Council does not intend to increase the tax rate, which is expected to remain at 16.6 cents/$100 assessment for non-commercial properties and 82.6 cents/$100 for commercial properties, in both the serviced (Sleepy Hollow area) and unserviced portions of the municipality.
